I Love Silver Trays

I have so many silver trays, just another weakness for me. I love this one. It's heavy and long. I am thinking it will fit on the back of my toilet. After I polish it up, I am sure it will look so, pretty, with towels and soaps. It's going to take a lot of elbow action.

I have been MIA on my blog a lot lately. I honestly do not have much to offer these days. And I have found myself loosing interest. So I am not going away, but just slowing down.

I have had some things in my life change and I am trying to adjust.

So, hang in there with me if you will.

Omigosh Glenda, I am SO with you on this. I've been experiencing some changes in my life too and I'm trying to adjust as well. It has kept me from blogging, but I found I haven't minded it as much as I expected. Blogging is just going to have to be one of those things that I get to it when I get to it. Ha! So don't worry - we're in the same boat!

Hi Glenda!

I know how your feeling. It's all I can do to get posts ready of late. I've been dragging my feet alot. Things have been so busy this summer and it gets harder to keep up.

I'm glad you're not going away! I enjoy visiting you!!

Hugs, sherry

It must be going around, I too am having trouble blogging lately. I felt like I was on such a roll for awhile and now I'm losing steam. I think part of it is just this time of year, we are decorating for anything at this time of the year!

I hope everything in okay with you???

I think we all go through those times when we are not able to post as often as we used to. Then things will happen and it will seem like we have so many things to post about but not enough time.

I hope the changes you are going through is a good thing. You know I'm here for you if you want to chat about it.

Big hugs,
Joanne

WARNING THIS IS LONG WINDED BUT WORTH EVERY WORD!!!

Could it be we bloggers have AAADD? Or just too occupied with life pulling at us from all directions that blogging takes to the back burner most days? I'd like to do more posting myself but can never sit down long enough or decide on what I'd like to post, maybe the phone rings or someones knocks on the door or I hear Callie making heaving sounds and I'd like to find her before she paints the carpet with barf and thus I brain fart then forget about it all together. At my age, it's not uncommon for me to be thinkin about the "hereafter"....
because everytime I walk into a room I ask myself,
"What the heck am I in here after?."

My uncle sends me lots of mostly crap emails, but once in awhile a keeper comes in:

Recently, I was diagnosed with A.A.A.D.D.
Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder.
This is how it manifests:
I decide to water my garden.
As I turn on the hose in the driveway,
I look over at my car and decide it needs washing.
As I start toward the garage,
I notice mail on the porch table that
I brought up from the mail box earlier.
I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car.
I lay my car keys on the table,
put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table,
and notice that the can is full.
So, I decide to put the bills back
on the table and take out the garbage firstBut then I think,
since I'm going to be near the mailbox
when I take out the garbage anyway,
I may as well pay the bills first.
I take my check book off the table,
and see that there is only one check left.
My extra checks are in my desk in the study,
so I go inside the house to my desk where
I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking.
I'm going to look for my checks,
but first I need to push the Coke aside
so that I don't accidentally knock it over.
The Coke is getting warm,
and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold.
As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke,
a vase of flowers on the counter
catches my eye--they need water.
I put the Coke on the counter and
discover my reading glasses that
I've been searching for all morning.
I decide
I better put them back on my desk,
but first I'm going to water the flowers..
I set the glasses back down on the counter,
fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote.
Someone left it on the kitchen table..
I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV,
I'll be looking for the remote,
but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table,
so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs,
but first I'll water the flowers..
I pour some water in the flowers ,
but quite a bit of it spills on the floor.
So, I set the remote back on the table,
get some towels and wipe up the spill..
Then, I head down the hall trying to
remember what I was planning to do..
At the end of the day:
the car isn't washed
the bills aren't paid
there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter
the flowers don't have enough water....
there is still only 1 check in my check book,
I can't find the remote,
I can't find my glasses,
and I don't remember what I did with the car keys..
Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today,
I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all day,
and I'm really tired.
I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some
help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail....
Do me a favor. Forward this message to everyone you
know,
because I don't remember who I've sent it to..
Don't laugh -- if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!.

Hi Glenda - Hope everything is going ok for you. Take care of yourself! Don't go away - just post when "you" want to post and/or have the time. Not sure how much posting I will be doing when I finish all my projects. I am trying to change some things around and get a little different look and to do it as inexpensive as possible.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Glenda

Hope we can see the before and after of your bathroom project. You've given me ideas for my own decor. Always better through someones elses eye to see their tastes and how they pull ideas together.
