More Vignettes From My Trip

This is another reason why I still want to return.

Every picture is of things that I am attracted to. The Bible was so old and pretty what a treasure that would have been just to find. I can't imagine selling it to anyone.

I have an appeal to religious things, there is a beauty from them I can't describe.

The doll heads helped me recall that I have some old dolls that I played with as a child put away that I should take out. There not in the greatest condition, but their my babies.

You can find bottles similar to these online or at Home Goods, but they don't quite have the same charm.

And these blue and white platers and vegetable bowl were an eye catcher as well.

Enjoy !

I've been reading your recent posts--I hope you feel better real soon! I grew up in the L.A. area, but haven't been there to visit since my mom moved away from there. Lots of good memories, though. Take good care of yourself! ~Jann

I will never get to L.A. so I will enjoy it through your eyes, great pics! I am glad to know we have the same china pattern! That makes it more special for me. Yes, you can find the vintage 1962 manufactured items on ebay or old china shops, it is true, if you need replace something. I was pretty upset with my Mom for quite awhile but never said anything about not getting to choose. I am grateful to have it, thanks Glenda :) So glad you are feeling better.
