I need everyones opinion. Even those that lurk.
What makes you come back to visit ?
Why don't you leave a comment ?
Is my site boring ?
Is my site exciting ?
Do I post about the same thing over and over again ?
Is it one of the first blog you think about when you go visiting ?
I know I am opening myself up for harsh remarks etc....., But I really want to know. I have been considering stopping my blog for lack of interest. By that I mean my numbers have dropped off so drastically. So let me know.
Thanks

I love your blog. I have you on my blogroll so I can see daily if you have posted anything new. Before bloglines, I would only check on my faves once a week/month or so. I know many people are going to "readers" and some of them have a button at the bottom where you can comment right from the "reader". Others you have to actually go to the blog and I am guessing that is why some bloggers readership has dwindled. If they read your posts through a "reader", it will not show up on your tracker doohickey.
I do not post on my blog on a regular basis, but I no longer stress about it either. I have cyber friends that expect weekly updates, but I go with what I am feeling.
Take a hiatus and see where it leads you. Maybe you need to break and it could refuel your blogging energy.
Glenda, I really like your blog. I always find your posts interesting and I hope you don't quit altogether but maybe just take a hiatus if you need to.
Oh please don't stop.....
I too love comments but my blog is really just an online journal.
I always visit you and I love that you ALWAYS comment back.
I feel as if..you are a dear friend.
You share a lot with us and I find you very interesting. I have only about 5 people who are my constant blog friends....meaning~they always visit and always comment. You are on that list.
I get a lot of traffic but not everyone chats. I really don't mind....I love comments but I do not even really try to MAKE my blog interest others.....it's sort of all about me.
like the other blogger said..you might need a break....this can be very time consuming. Whatever you decide....I am with you:)
Hi Glenda, I know you said you saw a difference in people who visit when you were dropped from my blogroll by mistake. I've put my blogroll on a different page so viewers must click to get to it. Do you think that made a difference? Because if it did, I will add them back on my main page. I've been thinking about doing that anyway.
Don't give up! If you look back in my archive you will see that I didn't get very many comments and then all of a sudden it changed!
I like your blog so I don't want to see you quit!
Glenda - I truly hope you do not quit. I always look at your blog. Yours is one of my favorites. You always have interesting things to say. I remember when I first started doing this, I came across Rue's blog. She posted about some people getting so many visits and comments and others barely getting any. Amazing how since then, she gets a ton of comments. I haven't figured out the secret, but that's okay. I enjoy blogging and I would truly miss your blog if you did not do it any more.
Well you just can't pull your Many Fond Memories woman...who will I pick at. Life has no guarantees so blame it on the economy...Don't take it personally.
I agree with Sophee-a-laroo:
"I love comments but I do not even really try to MAKE my blog interest others.....it's sort of all about me".
Don't throw in the towel, you'll be missed.
I just found your blog and I think it's neat. Just because people don't comment doesn't mean they aren't reading and enjoying your blog. But I know what you mean, it's way nicer when they do comment.
I started my blog mainly for myself as a way of chronicling my life and in that sense it doesn't really matter if anyone comments.
I like your blog and I'll be back.
Cheers, Laura
Hi Glenda,
I have had those questions myself.
I love your blog. I usually go down my list which is alphabetical. Sometimes I start at the bottom and sometimes the top. With so much going on it is difficult to post daily and usually to visit blogs in one shot. I thought initially I would but that soon became very unrealistic.
Don't be thinking about going anywhere. You would be greatly missed.
hugs,
Barb
Hi Glenda,
I wanted to pop over and say 'hi' and thank you for visiting my blog and commenting. I really love it when there is a comment from someone whose blog I have never seen! I have now discovered your blog..and I found it very interesting and visually very pretty to look at....I will visit again..and please feel free to stop in and visit me again!
~Angie
Hi Glenda,
it would be a pity to stop your blog. I know how you feel, because I wake up in the morning eagerly wondering how many comments I will find. The same questions come up and I often wonder if it has something to do with my English and being from a different country and culture, maybe people find it hard to understand what I am writing about. But then I always remember that I started my blog for myself and never ever thought that anyone will want to leave a comment.
I can't give you an answer why are people not posting comments but I can tell you that you are making a nice place here.
Never give up! Suzy
seems a nice blog.
tis my first visit.
love+light to you+yours
Glenda,
Please don't stop blogging. I enjoy your posts. I visit, but don't always leave a comment, is that bad??!!I blog because I can do all the TALKING :) It does take time to read all the ones that I visit and maybe that has something to do with people not commenting.
Maybe take a couple days off..but I hope and really want you to continue. Big Hug!!
Warmly,
Deb
I can't remember all of your questions...Please don't stop blogging :)
Glenda, I really like your blog.
I'm new to this wonderful world of blogging, I don't have my own blog yet, but I enjoy your postings very much find them very interesting. Please don't quit! Yours is one of my favorite blogs.

I just found your blog for the first time today. Clicked on your name when I saw you commented on someone else's blog. I was pleasantly surprised to see some of your favorite places are in my area. I live in Sonoma County and you are a few months older than me. I will be 52 in December. Nice to meet you. I am going to add you to my list of blogs to follow.
Definitely NOT boring at all. I love all your craftiness and all your thrifty finds. Keep on trucking or should I say blogging.
Hello Glenda, I just found your site through vosgesparis.blogspot and I´m glad to meet you! So many times I asked my readers to leave at least a little message so that I could find their blogs as well, but just a few people answered to my question, though I can see in my (invisible) site-stats (statcounter.com) who is passing LOL :D
I must admit that I´m often a silent reader as well and I don´t leave everywhere some comments. But I know that people appreciate my bla-bla, since they always come back. I think you´re in the same situation: you´ve a nice and interesting blog, but other bloggers don´t write anything here... Never mind; just continue and embellish the world!! :)
Love and greetings, Marjolijn
Hi Glenda :)
I really enjoy visiting you, but as Joyce said I have so many blogs to comment back on, it takes a while for me to get over here. I'm very thankful that anyone even wants to read my hoopla, but I've never understood it. Maybe you just need a break sweetie :)
Don't quite because I really will miss you.
(((hugs)))

Glenda, I like your blog as it is you. You share a piece of yourself with every post. You appreciate your life and the pretty things in it. I feel like I am getting to know you and not just pretty pictures. I like impersonal design blogs for ideas but I like yours for fellowship. I work down my blog roll once a week as it is getting very big! It is difficult to find time to comment on all of them. I most often comment on those who have spoken to me to show my appreciation for their comments. I am sure you have many 'lurkers' who thoroughly enjoy your blog. I am one of them! A-M xx
Don't stop. I enjoy your blog and visit as often as I can. I don't always leave a comment due to lack of time. I took a little break myself and it helped me. You'll find what is best for you.
Connie
Are you crazy! You can not stop posting! I look forward to coming here as often as I can. You are one of my favorite blogs and I would miss you way to much!
Please stay!
Hugs,
Joanne
Hi Glenda! I'm liking this blog! I think the thing that keeps people coming back is new posts that are loaded with goodies-photos photos and then a few more photos.
(Yes I do need to practice what I preach!)
Love the cheeky scarecrow!
