A Day Of Remembrance

Where were you when you heard the news ?

I was waking to get ready for work, and then there it was the second plane crashing into the second tower. Needless to say, I never made it to work that day.

That day I had not turned on the AM news as I usually do...I went on to work and when I walked in all the teachers were sitting in front of the TV pale as ghosts and I can still see the pain seared on their faces as I asked "what's going on guys?" For the next month I was glued to it crying so much in pain it was unbearable at times. To this very day whenever I see a plane low in the horizon taking off I think back to that horrid day when so many men women and children were murdered. We'll see them again one day standing with Jesus..I know it.
