Furniture Rearranged

So after 10 years here I finally decided to rearrange my living room. Yes, 10 YEARS. When you live in a small place, you don't have much to work with. But yesterday I decided to give it the old college dropout try.

The couch use to be against the wall under the picture and the floral chair use to be over in front of the patio door. I think the reason I never had it any other way, was I thought it would cut the room in half, since the living room and dining room are so close together. But it's changed and I like it now. I have to get use to the flow of it.

And another little treasure I found in the family bible, was written by my mother. It's sometimes weird to see handwriting of someone who's no longer with us.

Hi Glenda!
I love your living room rearranged! It looks fabulous! I like to change things around, it makes the same old things look new again and interesting . Wes and I are always moving our furniture.
I'm so glad you have your family Bible. It's such a special treasure. I love looking at the handwriting of someone passed. It makes me feel connected to them.

It looks great and I love the phrase "the old college DROPOUT try" - LOL!

I have a small living room and truly can't move things around. Wish I could!

Hi Glenda :)

First I love those pictures of you! Your motther had a sense of humor it seems ;)

Second, your room is beautiful and so cozy looking I could spend hours in there. What a wonderful treasure you found of your mothers. It is strange to see things that were once written by those we loved and are now gone.

I still have a hard time looking at my grandfather's picture sometimes.

I love the way your room looks! I think it's fun to rearrange furniture. I have done it so many times - back and forth, here and there. I love it! But, I'm getting too old to keep moving these heavy pieces. I ache by the end of the day so I decided that my last rearrangement was my last. No one believes me!!

Good for you...you GO GIRL!! It looks great and it's always good to get a fresh look at a room. The only bad part is when I find all that dust under everything...hmmm! I love the old photos of you sleeping, especially the one on the Lu!! Have a wonderful week! Blessings, Victoria Lynn

I am so glad you decided to give this a try. It is so easy to just get used to things. Moving things creates energy and freshness to our environment and creative selves. Good for you!
Its kind of a joke among my friends how often I rearrange.

Looks good. It's always nice for a change. We just got a new TV and stand and had to move everything around. We still have not found a way that we are happy with yet.

I think it's great you found a letter from your mom.

I have a journal my mom kept and the letter she was writting to her friend just minutes before she died. She never got to finish it.

I mailed it to her friend and she read it then sent it back to me as she thought it would be nice if I kept it. I was so happy she did.

Hugs,
Joanne
