Chairs Completed and Thrift Finds

So, with the chairs completed and reassembled I am on to the next project.
I found this bench at the Salvation Army. It's painted a yellow with gold.
Now the pattern on the fabric is pretty so I am taking it off and will try to wash it up. And then paint the bench white. If the fabric comes clean I'll just put it back on.
Now these sconces I found at Thrift Town.  Can you believe $15.00 for the pair. I've been looking for some like this. The shades are a little dirty, but I might try cleaning them, will see. I'll probably hang some crystals from them. I think white, or maybe something else.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Hi Glenda, your chair turned out great and you found some great finds. Did you see Cindy's post on My Romantic Home, she had some sconces she had on her wish list, that reminds me of the ones you found. You did good.

Hi Glenda!
I LOVE how your chair turned out! It looks beautiful!!
The bench is great. If the fabric doesn't come all the way clean you could always get a piece of sheer fabric to overlay the old fabric. It may give it a cleaner appearance and will soften the color and flowers some.
The sconces are awesome! Wow, what a find. Maybe you could make little slipcovers for the shades. They are so cute.
Hugs, Sherry

Oh you found some great things! I love the sconces! They would be great painted and with the crystals hanging on them. Can't wait to see what you do with them.

The chairs came out great! I love that little bench too.

Looks like you have your hands full these days with projects just like I do.

To many projects, so little time.

Hugs,
Joanne
