Sneak Peak

After painting the walls, I decided to paint the inside of the cabinets. There still not all done. My Kitchen is in a shambles. The inside of the cabinet is the blue paint, that I thought I was originally going to paint the walls. So as to not wasted paint I thought why not. It makes the cabinets lighter and easier to see in.
This is the yellow. It's Behr paint in "Manila Tint". The picture was taken at night and so, it may not be the best choice of when to take this, and again my Kitchen is in shambles. Another day, another paint brush. URGH

Have a wonderful day !

Hi ,

I followed the link where I have lsited wine tatsing a one of my hobbies in my profile. And this is the first site I hit.

The cats are cute. And I think when the paining is done, the effort will be worth.

Have a great day.

Hi Glenda!
I KNOW you are working so hard on your kitchen! It's going to be so great when you're done!! Now is the time to paint the inside of the cabinets, when everything is a mess anyway. You'll be so glad you did.
Loved your post on your mom and grandmother, it made me laugh!
Have a fabulous week!
Hugs, Sherry

Oh, your kitchen is going to be lovely when it is done! I love that you are painting inside the cabinets. What a great idea. Everytime you open the cabinets you will smile..

p.s. no, we didn't get any of the bad storms in NC where I live, thank goodness!

Oh you are going to need days of rest and relaxation when you are finished. That's a very big job you are doing.

It looks beautiful. I never thought of painting the inside of the cabnits and I love that idea. The blue and yellow look great together too.

Good job and you will be so happy when you finish and everything is put back. You can sit back and just smile and think "I did that".

Don't work to hard!
Hugs,
Joanne

Ooooh thank you for the photos of your kitchen re-do....my kitchen is scheduled for a yellow paint job this summer. On one hand, I can't wait to get it painted and then on the other hand, I know how much work it is going to be. Thanks for sharing these photos...I think! :) xoxo ~ Joy

Glenda,
It is looking great, I like the idea of using the left over blue paint inside the cabinets! Mine, are that white melamine(sp?) stuff inside and I love how bright it is, you see and find your dishes much easier!

Hope your having a wonderful start to your week...is your weather good there? We are suppose to get record temps by the weekend, hard to believe sitting here in a blanket and wool socks :(
