This was my new purchase today. It was the prettiest rose plant there was at Home Depot. 
I haven't really grow roses before, but could not pass up this beauty.
The variations on the blooms are just so awesome.
So, if any of you have any suggestions for me. I well take any and all suggestions in taking care of it. I will be planting this in a planter. An urn type. I will hate to see this beautiful plant die at my hands. I generally have good luck with plants in general. (click pictures to enlarge).

What a beautiful rose bush you have there. Unfortunatly I am of no help to give you tips, most of my yard is shady, very non-friendly to roses that usually like a fair amount of sun to bloom well...

I love your new rose plant! Wonderful color, PINK, Yea!! You know how I love PINK! The best advice I can give you is make sure to use some Osmocote fertilizer on them, make sure you water a lot while they are getting established! I like to mix in organic compost too, oh and when you plant it make sure to plant it deep enough, don't leave the crown out of the dirt! OK, so I was FULL of advice...I adore roses and have about 40 or more in my yard! Loved seeing your new post, enjoy that new fabulous pink rose...

Gosh, it looks like Donna Lynn gave you some really good advice, I may need to write it down - that's great!
You asked about my Princess Di rose, I love it and have had it for about 5 years (I think now) it started out in a container too and is now in the ground, but it did great when it was in the container too. I think as long as they're given lots of love (and probably everything Donna Lynn said that I didn't know, they do great!).
Happy night - oh, I love Home Depot too - always want everything there though, but who doesn't?

Gorgeous pink rose! The prettiest I've seen. I'm not very good with potted plants, I put them in the pot, water them and see what survives! So I'll not add any advice!!

Beautiful Roses! I think the color is just incredible! I had an aunt that won a house full of blue ribbons for her 235 rose types she grew! But I have not grown one! I am having an appreciation for them lately though, what a beautiful flower! I have liked pink since I saw what Judith could do with that color!
