A Warm Glow

I finally found the lights for my backyard. I purchased them over a year ago, and lost them in my messy garage. So, I found them an put them on the fence last night. I gives such a warm glow to the yard.

It's been hot here and it's nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the cool nights.

What a perfect spot to sit and relax with a nice cool drink.

I'm sure you will get a lot of enjoyment out there this summer.

Hi Glenda,
That looks great and give me an idea to put some lights up in the sunroom...maybe then I would enjoy it more. Happy Sunday.
Warmly,
Deb :)

Your yard looks nice. It's too hot and buggy here to sit outside now. Winter is the best time for us in Florida. Enjoy yourself. It looks peaceful and the lights are great!

Well, knock me down and steal muh teeth honey that turned out dandy and the light rope makes me think of the colorful neon tubing on the motels we stayed at treking cross the map to Missouri in them good ol days with mom and dad.
All we need now is maybe the sound of a 100+ car freight train off in the distant desert or the sound of the trucks crawling along up a hill in the middle of the night. Remember the rest stops along the way...mom would haul out the cooler for sandwiches... and if we were lucky we'd get to share a 7-UP in Tupperware cups. Daddy would raise the hood on the Cadillac and add water to the radiator. "Yuns better use the bathroom before we get back on the road" mom would chirp...It would be years later before daddy stopped smoking and I remember on them trips him flickin his ashes out the wing window and right back inside the back seat in our faces. I can still see him holdin the cig between two fingers and with his thumb flick the end of it. Don't miss the cigs daddy but thank you for the many other moments of our lives together...and mom thank you for letting us have a soda every once in a while. I still fancy Gingerale and "It Hasta be Shasta" soda's esp cream soda.
