Composite Doll

I came across this little baby in a small Antique Shop and thought Ok, it's giving me the snake eye, so this means I have to have it. Marked down like so many other things these day's I knew it had a home with me. At a closer look I noticed a hole in it's mouth and the light bulb came on. I had seen little babydoll bottles in another room. So I had to get it.  I have other composite dolls from my childhood and I love them. So, this is just another addition to my ever growing collection of things......

Hi Glenda!

It looks kind of like a Tiny Tears doll from the 50's. She is so sweet looking, I can see why you had to bring her home!
Your trip to Sacremento looked wonderful! And I see you found some fabulous treasures too, the little pitcher is adorable!!

OMG! Dolls scare me. Didn't you see that Twilight zone where those dolls come to life at night? LOL

I'm so weird! But that's why you like me. LOL

Hugs,
Joanne

My daughter would freak out if I brought a doll like that home. My mom has a huge doll collection and I have to cover them all up when we spend the night there because Lauren thinks they are scarey.

Regarding the bluebird plaque you just commented on...I forgot I tucked that in my purse after I bought it so I wouldn't break it. I forgot all about it until I got home!

Aw, cute! That little old fashion bottle is precious.

All the best,

Is it male or female? Don't think I'd like it staring at me with those eyes, or lack of eyes, from across the room.

Glenda, I love dolls. I'm a mega doll collector. I have to control myself around old dolls.

It reminds me of one of those Inkubator dolls. Nice find.

Toodles.

Lisa
