I Am A Kleptomaniac

I admit I steal ideas. So when Joanne from My Little Cottage In  The Making showed recently a place that made little gardens out of birdcages I said to myself, self you need a birdcage to make a mini flower garden out of. So on the hunt I went. I found this little beauty on Ebay. So now all I need  is the flowers and dirt. I'm excited to show you when it's done just how it turned out.  Thanks, Joanne for the idea.

Now I know what my son does when I am out of the house. He holds my babies captive up on the landing of my staircase. Aren't they cute with their evil looking eyes.

Hi Glenda,
Thank you for your prayers!! It's a comfort to know that so many wonderful people care:)
I don't think it's "stealing" ideas, I think it's sharing decorating ideas!! That's my store and I'm sticking to it:)
Almost missed the little "evil" eyes in the photo. :) :)
Happy Weekend.
Warmly,
Deb

I love the ideas I get from my blogging friends. Just like your staircase, Glenda. Wow! It's beautiful!!! I love the color of the paint on the walls. I love the black rails and the pictures are so unique and very pretty. So, can I steal that idea? Do you know what color paint that is? I've been looking for something like that and your staircase is just beautiful. And the puppies are adorable!!!!!

Well, thanks for the warning! I'll have to watch my wallet when I'm with you now. LOL

Just kidding of course. Before I read what you wrote I saw the photo and my first thought was "Wow! That would make a great garden!" So I was thrilled to see that is what you will do with that cage. It's so pretty! I'm jealous! I wish I had a pretty one like that to work with.

Be sure to line the bottom with moss before you plant anything. OK, right after I typed that I thought "How silly to write that. Like Glenda wouldn't know how to do the garden." Then I laughed thinking about someone just putting dirt in the cage and not understanding why it kept falling out.

Oh and by the way, you can always steal my ideas. No need for permission either. If I put it on my blog it's to share with the world and I get happy when someone tries out something I've posted about.

Hugs,
Joanne

Hi Glenda - I also loved that post that Joanne did! Oh my gosh, you got a BEAUTITFUL bird cage! I have bird cage envy right now! I have to say I enlarged the photo of your precious pups being held captive and they are just too cute with their little heads poking through the bannister! And I also love all the photos and prints you have arranged on your wall - that is stunning!... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
