Why I Love Thrift Stores Part Deux

Well blogger allowed me the honor of being able to post a picture. YAY !!!!!

This is more of what I found in my adventure to Thrifts Stores.

A large roasting pan for only $2.50, sugar scuttle with scoop for $6.00, the vase for $3.00 and of course the clock which is quite old it was the most expensive. And I love the old books you can get. I found these up in Healdsburg, CA, at the Salvation Army.

I am now thinking of taking my adventures down the southern way, towards San Jose, Ca.

Stay tune................

Hi Glenda,
I am glad you stopped by and I am glad that I could share some of our Christmas customs.

I like your thrift store finds especially the vase.

You always find the neatest things! I love old books! Plus, I recently saw a blog with a tutorial for altered books, using old books, which looks like lots of fun!!

Hey woman I have boxes and boxes of old books with nice linen and leather covers and gold lettered spines....ehhh come n get em doc!!!
I hit Thrift Town this afternoon and found in original packaging, un-used cotton floral pillow slips and also an all cotton vintage un-used fitted sheet covered in dainty roses. I just need to get a job there I reckon.

Healdsburg? Wow, you were up in my neck of the woods. I am guessing you got there driving up 101. I have cousins in Healdsburg. I think. At least I think that is where the cousins I am thinking of lives.
