A Wait And See

Why a wait and see ? There is one person ahead of me that is going to take a look at this chair this coming Saturday. It's on craigslist and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to look at it. It's $200.00 and only two years old.  It's the type of chair I've been looking for and see for over $1000.00.

Update : The original person backed out, so I will be able to see it tomorrow, YAY !!!!!

Well I got it. It's a BIGGIN. I found a kindred spirit in the woman I bought it from. It's like we had know each other forever.  We share the same life experiences. It's like it was meant to be. Now I just need an ottoman to make it comfortable. Maybe a leather ottoman in brown.

Your Craigslist people are more generous than mine. Here it's "You have the cash? It's yours."
I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I wish you good luck. I have never bought anything on Craigslist, but know someone that does and has got some great deals.

What a wonderful chair. I hope you get it! Great finds at the thrift store too. When we visiting wine country a few years ago, our fav town was Healdsburg. We were there 4th of July weekend and they had a great antique/flea type fair on the main square.

Hi Glenda :)

Oh! I hope you get that chair!! It's darling :)

I love all your thrift store finds, especially that little clock.

Oh and I don't understand why you don't get more comments either. Your blog is really beautiful and I love coming here. Blog parties might help :)

So did you get the chair? How exciting to find something you have been looking for on CL. I look on there every day and hardly find anything I want.

Love your thrift store finds. You are doing great in the bargin department this year!
