Have you ever had a great idea, only to see someone else had the same idea ?
While trying to get a solution to not being able to find the correct harp for a lamp, I thought why not have something that you can attach to the light bulb and also attach the shade to it.
Well here it is. I found these at, Bed Bath and Beyond.

That is a good idea. But we are gradually switching to the energy saver bulbs which are mostly the squiqqly style. Don't know if those would work on the new style bulbs. Unless there are energy saver bulbs shaped like the traditional light bulb shape. I was straightening and I just found a $10 coupon for the Hallmark store that I forgot about. Fortunately it is still good until the end of January. Yay! That was a pleasant surprise.

That is a great idea with the blubs.When I see old lamps these would work perfectly. Now I just need to remember that!!

I have had this dilemma myself and did not know these existed.
What a great idea! But why couldn't WE make the millions off these great ideas we have?? I guess we're meant to be creative and thrifty!!
