Window Shopping

While walking through the upstairs of an Antique Shop months ago I had seen this window. It caught my eye, but I walked away. Well it stayed with me for over a month. Then I decided to go back to see if it was there. Well as you see, it was. I just loved the simpleness of it.

I love things french, perhaps it's the French in me. And the blue also attracted me.

I don't know what exactly I am going to do with it. My first thought was to hang it on the wall. I just need to go to the creative side of my brain and do something. It's now stored behind the white dresser I just finished.

Well you could put a couple of screw eyes (ouch that sounds painful) at the top and run a nice cord through it then hang it in your dining room window...when the morning sun comes through it, it will reflect on the opposite wall. Maybe stick some photos on it or a dried flower swag thing and hang it over a sofa or chair..better yet when you come out here to get that victorian chair I posted that got painted white then covered in blue and white cloth that my dealer friend said I should be shot over and everyone laughed at it and me when he put it in his shop for sale but it didn't sell so he brought it back to me and I tried to sell it at a yard sale but nobody wanted it either so off in the shed it went till I took it's picture in the tall grass in my back yard and bloggers liked it..you know which one I'm talking about??...oh uh hello got to rambling...you can bring that window out here and I'll hang it in my bathroom....yea that's it..

I love old windows too but never know what to do with them. There is an antique shop near me that has lots of old windows they are only $5.00 but I never get one as I don't know what I would do with them.

Good luck finding a perfect spot for it as it really is pretty.

Hugs,
Joanne

Glenda,

Very pretty. Knowing you, you'll find something très beau to do with it! I do like the idea of hanging it in a window...

Hi Glenda,
I have a suggestion, how about hanging the window in a window and it could be like a stain glass look..if you have one that it would fit in? See what you think and you could add flowers to it before you hang it in the window..is that too many windows....LOL.. did I confuse you??!!
Warmly, Deb :)
