What's A Girl To Do ?

Well I give up. I borrowed a lawn mower from a dear friend and went over to my parents home to mow the lawn. So excited to get that behind me.

Well guess what ? I plugged it in and pushed the button and it didn't start. What the hell ?.

I call them up in Oregon, and asked what was I doing wrong. Well I wasn't doing anything wrong it just didn't start. Wouldn't you know it, now I have 2 lawnmowers that don't work. How am I suppose to get this done ?. I am close to tears out of frustration. I am beginning to think something or someone's trying to tell me something. What that is, I am certain I do not know. It is making me think why aren't I able to get this done. What is the message that I am suppose to get out of this. Is it that, the house needs to wait till it's ready ? I simply don't know.

And pulling weeds, is like pulling teeth, the molars they don't want to come out easy. The thorny ones have poked me so many times I feel like a pin cushion.

So what's a girl to do I ask you ?

Thanks to all of you for your support. I means a lot to know other care about you.

Somehow I will get this done. I want the house on the market and out of my hair, ARGH !!

Thanks for stopping by my blog....nice to meet you!

I hate it when things don't work right. It's sooooo frustrating!

What are you supposed to do? Go out there with your scissors?

Good luck with the lawn!

Stephanie

Oh Glenda,
Can you hire any of the work to get done? Maybe a neighbor hood kid could move the lawn? You poor gal :( Wish I could help. Have some ice tea and read a good magazine.
Warmly, Deb

Oh this brings back memories of when I had to clean out my grandparents house. By myself. Notice I didn't say "good memories". At times I felt so overwhelmed. I mean I had to sort through paperwork that included returned check from the 1940's. They never threw anything out.
My advice is to cry a little (or a lot) wine takes the edge off and lastly, (this one was a hard one for me) hire some help. I finally hired some ladies to help clean the house. It remains one of the best $150 dollars I ever spent.

Oh, Glenda, I know what you're going through--been there, done that, you know? Keep your chin up! Check my blog when you get a chance--I have given you an award! Take care, Jann

Glenda - I don't know if you can do it, but I would hire someone. I don't think they really cost that much. You may be surprised. Maybe just hire someone to mow the lawn and if you get that done, perhaps the other things that need to be done will be a bit more manageable for you. I hate yard work with a passion. I lived on an acre growing up and I had to help often. Now I am perfectly content in my townhouse with just a little courtyard to maintain. I have common areas outside that I enjoy and don't have to touch. Maybe a high school kid, or someone college-bound that needs a few bucks. Please look into it. You are worth it.

What's a girl to do...truly, hire some help. Yes it will cost you some but it will take so much weight off of your shoulders. You won't regret it.

It is so hard to go through all the stuff you have to go through and then fix up the place.

Maybe it's just not time to sell yet? Maybe you are being told to hang on to it a little longer. Maybe until the market gets better??? Or maybe it's just a little way to delay getting it finshed because down the line the right people at the right time will come and see it and buy it then make memories to pass on to someone else.

Everything happens for a reason.

I agree with others, if possible hire some help.

Hugs,
Joanne
