She's Baaaaack !

I wanted to share this glass bowl. It belonged to my mother. I remember her having plastic fruit. Do you remember plastic fruit ?. I remember the grapes, apples, pears, and bananas. I am not sure what I'll use it for, I don't have plastic fruit. I also remember one year mom and dad purchased a new refrigerator and inside were plastic things like, lettuce, a frosted cake and a few other things I can't remember. That was a bonus, because it gave us more to play with. Don't know what ever happened to those.

And look at the vinegar I found at thrift town, it's lavender glass. I also found this floral pillow cover.

I am still struggling with my parents home in getting things accomplished. I have put it in Gods in box and I'll just have to wait for him to get to it.

Thanks again for all your support.

Your glassware is soooo pretty! I love the lavendar! You got some great things while treasure hunting! I remember plastic fruit in a wood bowl on my grandma's dining room table! Wow, thanks for the memory!
Have a great day!

I remember plastic fruit! I wonder whatever happened to it? Probably in the landfill, never to disintegrate!

Maybe you could put fresh fruit in the bowl. I do remember the plastic fruit.

I love the lavendar piece you got. How pretty.

You sure had a lucky day for finding treasures.

Ugh! I hated that ugly plastic fruit!!! My mom had it in a milk glass bowl on top of the refrigerator - grapes, banana's, apples. She also had plastic flowers in little vases. I'm sure glad styles have changed. My mom doesn't have the plastic fruit anymore, but she swears she still likes it!!! Great finds Glenda. You sound better today.

Who can forget plastic fruit.....
Glenda, I think you and I are the only ones who do not make our bed everyday....we rock! LOL
Every gal in blog land seems to be bed makers.
Hope things are progressing with your parent's home...try to relax.
Go jump on the bed :)

Hi Sweet Glenda!
I love your glass bowl! what a treasure to have! I love those memories we have of such things. My grandma Meme had wax fruit that looked so real she had to keep it up on the built in buffet in her glass basket so us grandkids wouldn't try to eat it! I have her glass basket and it is one of my treasures. The lavender glass piece is beautiful! You find some great things girl!
Have a great week!
Hugs, Sherry
