Finished Product

I finished the Birdcage and the Cage stand. I put a plant in it for now. I might change my mind later to put something else in it. At least it being by the window, the plant will get plenty of light. The stand was rusty and I just brushed it off really good with a metal brush and sprayed primer on it first, then followed it up with white gloss spray paint. Both by Rust-Oleum.

The cage was a dark grayish green. It too was sprayed with Rust-Oleum gloss white.

I hope everyones 4th was safe and fun.
Just a quite evening with girls with the exception of a few firecrackers.

Hi Glenda,
The bird cage is lovley. WHite is perfect. Thanks for visiting me and helping me with my blog! :) I'll try to remember to move the curser next time. I keep forgetting things and have to slow down and take my time when I post:) I stayed home last too. Poor Scout, the oldest Jack, is SO scared of the fireworks that some neighbors lit, he poop all over the rug in the lower level family room. Husband wasn't happy cleaning that up. Glad he found IT first:) Warmly, Deb

Hi Glenda,
I love that birdcage and it is the perfect place for a plant...a lot less fuss then a real bird Lol.
I wind up killing plants and birds too...I can't keep a houseplant and I am debating on adopting some finches. My last try was not so great.
