My Heart Is Complete

Here it is. I finally finish the button heart project. I kept running out of buttons. Who knew it would take so many. I finished it off with a blue ribbon. I'll probably hang it on the inside of my front door.

I've been asked to let everyone know how I made this :
I bought this foam heart from Joanne Fabrics. The buttons from different places, put on with hot glue. The ribbon was not glued on. I pined it so I could change it out if I liked.

Charming! Did you count the buttons? How many did it take? You know, just in case I get ambitious...

It is a great project Glenda!

It looks so cute. When I made mine last weekend I wanted to make a heart-shaped one but they were out of those at Michaels!

I had a heart shaped one but I gave it away on my blog and I've always wanted to make another one!

It's lovely! I bought a baggie of mother of pearl buttons at the flea market about a month ago, thinking that I'd have more than enough for what I was working on. Of course, there wasn't enough =) Your heart must have taken a ton! Blessings... Polly

Hi Glenda!
Oh your button heart is adorable! You really did a good job on it, so professional looking. What kind of base did you use? You need to give us a lesson on how to make it! It's too cute for words!

Just stopping by your site and thought I'd leave a comment...hope you don't mind.

I love the heart you made...it is gorgeous. I started one with white buttons also but on a cone the shape of a Christmas tree. I didn't use hot glue. I used pins. I'm going to give this heart a try for sure!
