Freshly Painted Staircase

I realized I had never shared the pictures of the stairway redo.
As you can tell the before was the renters white, I am not a renter. Why did it take 10 years to paint this. Well I had a lot of things going on in my life.

My son painted the stairway before he left for Santa Rosa this summer. As you can tell I like the older pictures more of the 1940's. The baby picture isn't me.  I hope I don't wait another 10 years to paint other things. I just need some inspiration.

Don't forget you have until June 30th to enter my GIVEAWAY see to the right and click on the picture. Good Luck !

Hi Glenda,

I like the new color. You two did a great job. Sometimes good things are worth the wait. I have some painting to do also. Not sure when that will happen.

blessings,
Barb

I am a renter, but have lived here for 5 years and have no real intention of moving any time soon. All of the walls are off-white and the wide wood trim, pocket doors and mantel are white. I think I'm going to be adventurous and paint sometime soon...something warm and wonderful! I do hate to paint though...

Hi Glenda,
I love the color you chose, looks very nice with your 1940s pictures - I love that era too - very romantic!

So, who is the baby picture of - do you know? I almost bought a little girl's photo in an antique store from that era just because it was so cute. Each time I go back, it's still there...

It's real overcast here to answer your question, but warm (smoke) - you too?

Happy weekend!

Glenda,
Your staircase wall looks great. I know what you mean about time flying by and not even noticing when something needs painted...but it sure makes you feel great and accomplished when you get it done! Have a wonderful weekend, Victoria Lynn

Hi Glenda!
Your stairway wall looks fabulous! The color makes the pictures have some presence on the wall.
Mom is doing well in her new "home" and we are so relieved. The caregivers are so wonderful and all the residents I talked to love it there. I feel so much better. Thanks for your support and kind comments through this!! You are great!
Hugs, Sherry
