Pair of Chairs

I found these on Craigslist and I am going to check them out tomorrow. They are only $75.00 for the pair !. I hope there to my liking.
I would love to have them for my dinning room. I have a small table now with only two chairs. Either I'll replace them with these or pass on them depending what they look like. I am excited. Hope they'll be a great find.

I didn't get the chairs. They were not to my liking. They were kind a cheaply. Oh well, I'll look around some more.

Those look like great chairs. I can't wait to see what you do with them! I just love Craigslist. You never know what you will find.

Believe it or not, I found a Human Hand listed the other day. SCARY! I called the police department and they opened a case up and are investigating it. They said it could be from a murder and the person cut the hand off. YIKES! They said it could also be a joke but then they would have a fraud case as they were asking for almost $500 for it. Either way, they said it was a crime. Even if it was used in a medical office or school. You can't sell human parts.

Now aren't you happy you brought up Craigslist. LOL

Hugs,
Joanne

P.S. Gene is slowly getting better each day. Yesterday was not a good day for him. He was very tired and depressed but today he was a bit better. It's a hard road he has to travel. Thanks for asking.

What a great find. If they are to your liking will you recover or paint them? Either way these are pretty.

Glenda,
Those chairs look so French! Yummy!!! I love this look, and they are padded too, BONUS! Do you think you will paint them if you do indeed get them? What a great deal for two chairs, I am always amazed when I look at the Ballard Design Catalog and see the prices for furniture...YIKES! Who can afford that? Not this girl, it's junk finds for me!
Have a wonderful Tueday,

Hi Glenda,
Too bad about the chairs. They look lovely in the picture and so french. You'll find the right ones, just have to be patient ;) -- which I know is terribly hard!

Happy night!

OH what a GREAT find! Love those! They can go anywhere! I check Craigslist all the time and I have (bought some) posted some stuff on there too.

Forgot to mention I LOVE The bird and natural sounds on your site! Where can I get some?

Hi Glenda!
Thank you sooo much for your comment about your mom and the nursing home issue. It makes me realize that my brother and I are not in the boat alone! I was feeling really bad. However, my brother called me today and said mom was having a good day today when he visited with her!! Hooray!! Thanks for your prayers!
I'm sorry the chairs weren't what you wanted. The picture sometimes paints a different picture than reality! Do you have a JC Penny Furniture Outlet in Calif? That's where we have found fabulous buys here. You can still paint them or do whatever you want for the price.
Just a thought!
Big Hugs! Sherry

Glenda,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I check Craig's List daily, mostly for yard sales and estate sales. So I'm not the only one who changes my blog often? I just cna't seem to pick one look. Thanks for letting me know about the website. It looks like I have some homework. I will visit often.

Take care,
Connie
