This is something new for me. Loving cups otherwise known as a trophy. It's my new obsession.
Don't know why except that I love the look of shinny silver and it was cute.
I won it on Ebay. You would not believe just how much people actually bid on these. I have seen them go for as much as $300.00. I however did not pay that much I got lucky.
So, I'll be looking for these out and about in hope of getting a deal.

I thought about collecting them once too! I was at a thrift store that had about 15 of them. All from the same person. But then I thought about it and didn't have anywhere to put them. They are nice. The one you got is great!
My new collection seems to be silver trays and milk glass. I've been searching them out and picking them up when I find them.
Isn't it funny how we get something in our mind and just dream about them, buy them and hunt for them.
Was't that one big silver piece you got at that haunted antique store one too? I thought it was engraved. Maybe I'm wrong.

Seems like I can recall looking up loving cups up on eBay some years ago. I tried to collect Pixieware because I absolutely adore it, but it was simply cost-prohibitive. Now I just gaze at photos now and then. :O)
My latest "obsession" is creating artist trading cards. Fun!
I have been trying to find some as well on ebay but they just skyrocket in price so I give up. Congrats on your new "prize"!
