Mother of pearl is so beautiful, and this is another passion for me, religious things. I have them all over the house. Some might think I am over religious, but not so, I just love the uniqueness of it. From crosses to cherubs, to holy water fountains you can find these here in my home. So, I am always on the look out for it. I paid $4.99 for this at my favorite thrift shop, and I just love how pretty it is. It's small but powerful.

Well now you child of God...I don't think you can be over religious and anyway even if you were it's between you and God and nobody else...Praise be to you for your appreciation of this symbol and rememberance of just why He died on that cross.

You've been busy thrifting! The mother of pearl cross is beautiful. My sister had a special fondness for mother of pearl so it give me that warm fuzzy feeling. The badges you found are awesome! so different and unique.
Your patio at night is so inviting! I love those rope lights, great use of them. and the chalkboard you made is gorgeous! I never thought of decorating a plain eraser - very clever!
