I felt compelled to post this picture after seeing it. As a result of the devastating wild fires in Australia that have killed over 200, people are not the only victims of the fires. Animals are victims as well.
This just touched me, to see a firefighter giving one of Gods creatures a drink from his own water bottle. He could have walked away and let it fend for itself, but stopped to give it a drink, I am sure it is extremely HOT there and this poor Koala, would have died from thirst.
Please include Australia in your prayers, they need them badly. Many people died because they were only given 5 minutes notice. They have lost everything. Some people were even burned alive in their cars the fires moved that fast.
P.S. The Koala was picked up by a wildlife refuge. It's paws were burnt. It will remain there until it's healed than returned to the wild. Also, you may not be aware that these fires were deliberately set, by someone. They are not natural fires from lighting strikes.

Glenda, we have almost identical posts today. It's almost too hard to comprehend all the suffering taking place in Australia right now. My heart goes out to everyone, yes, including the animals. I actually used the same photo in my blog post today... how touching it is. (I hope you don't get two comments frome me - my first 'disappeared' so I've entered a new one... Oh Glenda!
This just filled my eyes tears!
I'm praying.
Whenever I hear of a fire or any disaster I always think of all the poor animals.
I will never understand how someone can enjoy starting a fire and watching all the suffering take place.
It's just so heartbreaking. I pray they find the person who did this and lock him up for life.
Hugs,
Joanne

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

DEAR GLENDA,
I SAW THE NEWS SHOW ABOUT THIS PRECIOUS KOALA BEAR. IT TOUCHED BOTH MY HUSBAND AND ME.
IT SHOWED HER AND IT SAID THEY SAVED ONE OTHER KOALA BEAR.... IT WAS A MALE AND THEY HAD TAKEN A LIKENING TO EACH OTHER......I THOUGHT WHAT A BLESSING IT WAS THAT THIS FEMALE AND A MALE WERE SAVED. THEY CAN CLING TO EACH OTHER...KNOWING WHAT THEY HAD BEEN THROUGH...YOU ARE RIGHT...NOT MANY PEOPLE GIVE MUCH THOUGHT TO HOW THE ANIMALS FEEL....
MY CAT IS TERRIBLY AFRAID OF THUNDER...WHEN IT THUNDERS HE JUST SHAKES AND HIDES AT MY FEET....IT IS JUST REALLY SAD TO ME WHAT EVERYONE IN AUSTRALIA SUFFERED AT THE HAND OF A FIREBUG....I'LL JUST PRAY THIS PERSON OR PERSONS TURN THEMSELVES IN OR GOD REVEALS THEM....
BLESSINGS
debbie
