What A Long Day

NELL

It was another dog transport day. We had to pick up this little girl at the Marin County Shelter before they put her down. It was an adoption that didn't turn out so well. After picking her up we made the long trip down to her place of origin, in Delano, CA. This little girl has been in a Shelter for nearly a year without adoption, so when this one fell through it was a race of time. Delano is 5 hours away so it was a long day.........

On the way back we stopped to eat dinner at Harris Ranch in Coalinga, CA. It's an awesome place to stop and eat a nice dinner. They serve more than Beef, so you have choices. They also have a beautiful spa, and hotel to stay.

You are a God Send to this little dog. Do you know what happened and why no one wanted her?

I love hearing stories of dogs that finally get adopted. Thank you so much for driving all that way and saving her life. You are a hero in my eyes!

Hugs,
Joanne

Oh my gosh I'm so glad you could save her. It breaks my heart to think of these kinds of things :( Don't you just wish you could have a giant animal rescue farm and let all the animals that need homes live there? I do! Oh if only an animal lover would win the lottery huh? You're the best,

Allison

Glenda,
You are an amazing person to take these poor pups on. It is so sad to think of what would happen otherwise. But it can also make for some fun road trips I see. Love Harris Ranch.

Oh, poor little thing! I hope she finds a nice home! Did you feed her Harris Ranch steak? They sell the best steak seasoning there!

You do amazing work. That sweet little dog deserves a good home, I know you were part of her path to it. God bless you for doing what you do.

'The Ranch' as my family calls it...is the best place to stop any time of day!!

What kind of dog is that? Looks just like a Baseinji that I have seen. Beautiful dog!
